mescla.emma.projection¶
Projection into and out of the mixing subspace (U-space).
U-space is the reduced coordinate system spanned by the retained eigenvectors. Its
usefulness is geometric: in U-space a set of conservative mixtures of k+1
end-members falls inside a simplex whose vertices are those end-members, so you can
look at whether your candidates bound the data.
S-space, by contrast, is the space of the original solutes.
